Your tasks

• Develop statistical analysis and develop reports related to performing analysis
• Support in developing, implementing and managing statistical database(s)
• Perform treatment and validation of data and metadata
• Filter, Sort and Mine data using statistical techniques/methods
• Identify patterns and trends in datasets and perform data processing
• Define new methods and data sources for data collection and analysis processes

• Draft project progress report

• Regularly interface with clients and prepare draft technical documents and presentations for their decision or information

Your Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in statistics, economic or in a related discipline
• Experience with statistical tools and data modelling methodologies: SPSS/R or SAS knowledge are required
• Experience in data management, creating reports and interpretation of results
• Experience with European statistical system is an asset
• Proven experience working with large, individual-level data sets
• Sound user knowledge of standard MS Office Tools, especially with MS Excel
• Fluency in English (spoken and written), French is an asset
• Excellent time management skills, contributing to multiple projects with competing timelines
• Interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
• Sound drafting capacity
• Prior experience working in a statistical office or consultancy is considered as strong asset
• Experience in macro-economic statistics is an asset
